Job Title: Lecturer - Plumbing Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 30,000 - 42,000OverviewDeliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to Plumbing students, supporting their progress, achievement and development in a safe and inclusive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and AssessmentDeliver structured lessons in line with curriculum requirementsPlan sessions, prepare resources and assess learner workMonitor attendance, progress and achievementProvide clear feedback to support developmentEmbed English, maths and employability skillsCurriculum DeliverySupport development of up-to-date, industry-relevant curriculumMaintain current knowledge of trade practicesEngage with employers to support learner opportunitiesLearner SupportPromote safeguarding, wellbeing and positive behaviourCreate a safe and inclusive learning environmentSupport learners with additional needs where requiredAdditional DutiesSupport recruitment activities (open days/interviews)Participate in CPD and quality processesMaintain accurate records and follow policiesWork collaboratively with staff and stakeholdersRequirementsLevel 3 Plumbing qualification (minimum)Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)Relevant industry experienceGood communication and organisational skillsUnderstanding of safeguarding and learner support Important NoticeDovetail and Slate is a specialist education recruitment company.
