Plumbing and Heating Manager

New Opportunity Plumbing and Heating Manager Bury Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Plumbing and Heating Manager to join their branch team in Bury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong product knowledge and industry experience to take ownership of the plumbing and heating department while driving profitable sales growth. Working closely with the Branch Manager and supported by the Plumbing and Heating Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing customer relationships, managing stock, and ensuring sales targets and margin objectives are achieved. The role would suit someone who understands the local market and has experience trading within the Bury area. As the new Plumbing and Heating Manager, you will: Demonstrate strong knowledge of plumbing and heating products Create profitable sales growth within the department Negotiate sales in line with company budgets and gross profit targets Follow up quotations and convert enquiries into orders Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers Work closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to deliver excellent customer service Manage and maintain core stock levels Identify and manage slow-moving or obsolete stock Ensure all reports and administration tasks are completed accurately and on time Maintain awareness of customer credit limits and trading terms Attend relevant company and manufacturer training when required Ensure all health and safety policies are ..... full job details .....
