Plumbing and Heating ManagerOur client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Plumbing and Heating Manager to lead and develop the plumbing and heating department. This is a key management role responsible for driving sales, managing stock, leading the team and delivering excellent customer service to trade and retail customers.The successful candidate will have strong product knowledge, proven leadership skills and a hands-on approach to managing a profitable department.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operation of the Plumbing and Heating departmentDrive sales, margin and growth in line with company targetsBuild and maintain strong relationships with trade customers, contractors and suppliersProvide expert product advice on plumbing and heating systems and componentsControl stock levels, ordering, merchandising and stock accuracyEnsure pricing, promotions and displays are accurate and effectiveHandle customer enquiries, quotations and order progressionMonitor KPIs, sales performance and departmental budgetsEnsure compliance with health and safety, company policies and proceduresWork closely with branch management and other departments to support overall branch performanceSkills and Experience RequiredProven experience in plumbing and heating within a builders merchant or plumbing merchant environmentStrong knowledge of plumbing and heating productsCommercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and marginExcellent customer service and communication ..... full job details .....
