Salary: £16.80 – £18.40 p/h + Overtime + Company Vehicle (Inc. Private Use)

Attega Group is proud to partner exclusively with our client to recruit an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer. This is a permanent, site-based role focused on high-quality New Build Housing installations and comprehensive aftercare.

• Earnings: 45-hour basic week + consistent overtime (Average 50hrs).
• OT Rates: Saturday (1.5x) | Sunday (2.0x).
• Transport: Company van, fuel card, and uniform provided (Private use of van included).

• As a core member of the mechanical team, you will handle full-cycle installations and warranty support:
• New Build Installation: 1st & 2nd Fix, Soil & Waste, Sanitary Ware, and Steel Pipework.
• Commissioning: Testing and commissioning of systems and domestic boilers.
• Compliance: Carrying out Gas Safety Checks and issuing Landlord/Homeowner certificates.
• Aftercare: Attending emergency call-outs and managing snagging lists as directed by Contracts Managers.
• Communication: Providing feedback on customer care issues and site progress.

• We are looking for a technically proficient engineer who takes pride in their "site-ready" finish.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in domestic plumbing and heating.
• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 (Plumbing) or equivalent.
• Compliance: Active Skills Card / CSCS Card and a Full UK Driving License.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience in boiler replacements, system upgrades, heating controls, and commercial-spec steel pipe/water heater installations.
• Flexibility: Willingness to join the Out-of-Hours (OOH) rota for properties under warranty.
