Job Overview:

As a Plumbing Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and pipework systems across a range of building projects. You will work closely with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure systems are installed to high standards and meet all regulatory and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install hot and cold water systems, heating pipework, and drainage systems

• Fabricate, assemble, and install pipe systems using copper, steel, plastic, and other materials

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications

• Carry out pressure testing and commissioning of systems

• Work on both first-fix and second-fix installations

• Collaborate with site teams to coordinate works and ensure smooth project delivery

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and site regulations

• Report progress and issues to the site supervisor or project manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Pipe Fitter within the building services or mechanical contracting industry

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent

• CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred)

• Experience working with various pipe materials (copper, steel, plastic, etc.)

• Ability to read and work from technical drawings

• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and standards

• Own tools and PPE

• Full UK driving licence-
