PlumberLocation: North West LondonDuration: 6 monthsPay: £18.46 through an umbrella companyA major London hospital trust is seeking a skilled Mechanical Craftsperson (Plumber) to join its in-house Estates team, supporting the safe and reliable operation of critical mechanical systems across a busy, multi-site healthcare estate. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring high-quality environments for patients, staff, and visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform statutory, routine, and reactive mechanical maintenance to ensure safe, compliant operation of building services. Carry out fault-finding, mechanical repairs, minor installations, and weekly/monthly testing including water safety tasks.Support mechanical contractors, apprentices, and wider Estates colleagues, helping maintain continuity of service across all sites. Follow Trust policies, safe systems of work, and permit processes, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation and HTMs.Liaise professionally with service users, clinical teams, and partners to support safe, effective maintenance delivery.
