Job Description

• Carrying out responsive plumbing repairs and planned maintenance within occupied Social Housing properties across Bedfordshire.
• Diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults, including leaks, taps, toilets, showers, pipework and water systems.
• Completing repairs efficiently and aiming for first-time fixes while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants, ensuring minimal disruption and a professional approach at all times.
• Managing daily workloads effectively and ensuring all work is completed safely and within agreed timescales.
• Working closely with supervisors and planners to deliver a reliable, high-quality maintenance service across the Bedfordshire area.

Skills / Qualifications

• Experienced Plumber with a background in Social Housing, housing maintenance or property services.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing, or an equivalent qualification, is desirable.
• Competent in diagnosing plumbing faults and carrying out a range of reactive repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and safe working practices within occupied properties.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential for travelling across Bedfordshire.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.
