Search Consultancy is looking for a Skilled Plumber to join our expanding mechanical and electrical teams across Hartlepool. We are partnering with leading regional contractors and specialist M&E firms who require high-specification installations on new-build residential developments and commercial refurbishments.
If you are a specialist who thrives in a productivity-driven environment and can deliver leak-free, high-standard plumbing systems from first fix to final commissioning, we have immediate starts and long-term runs of work available now.

The Role

* First Fix & Carcass: Installation of plastic and copper pipework for domestic water services, central heating systems, and drainage.
* Sanitaryware Fitting: Expert installation of bathrooms, en-suites, and cloakrooms, ensuring all fixtures are aligned and finished to a high standard.
* Heating Systems: Installing radiators, cylinders, and underfloor heating systems as per site drawings and specifications.
* Testing & Commissioning: Carrying out pressure testing on all pipework and ensuring all installations meet water regulations and safety standards.
* Productivity Driven: We need Plumbers used to the fast-paced nature of residential plot finishing who can maintain a "zero-snag" policy to meet handover deadlines.

Requirements

* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating is essential.
* CSCS Card: A valid Blue or Gold Skilled Worker card is mandatory.
* Gas Safe (Optional): While not always required for every role, a valid Gas Safe registration is a significant advantage for boiler installations.
* Tools & PPE: Full professional plumbing kit (including testing equipment, press-fit tools, and cordless drills) and standard 5-point PPE.
* Experience: Proven track record in residential new-builds, commercial fit-outs, or large-scale social housing upgrades.
* Reliability: Must be able to work efficiently as part of a mechanical team to hit strict project milestones.
* Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
