Plumber – (Permanent Role)

Build Recruitment are looking for an experienced Plumber to join a leading social housing company on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established organisation offering long-term stability, excellent benefits, and ongoing support.

You will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance and planned works across social housing properties, ensuring all jobs are completed to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

• Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance in occupied and void social housing properties
• Diagnosing and repairing leaks, blockages, and pipework
• Installing and repairing sanitary ware (toilets, basins, sinks, baths)
• Working on hot and cold-water systems
• Completing minor bathroom and kitchen plumbing works
• Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations
• Accurately completing job reports via PDA/handheld device
• Providing a professional and courteous service to tenants at all times

• Proven experience working as a plumber, ideally within social housing or domestic maintenance
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
