Plumber Mate

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Plumber''s Mate to support a busy team on new-build student accommodation projects. This role involves assisting qualified plumbers with the installation of plumbing and mechanical systems on-site, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of works.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with installation of hot & cold-water systems, waste pipework, and sanitaryware

Support first and second fix plumbing works in bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas

Prepare materials, tools, and work areas for plumbers

Help with moving and setting out equipment, fittings, and pipework

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Follow instructions from qualified plumbers and site supervisors

Ensure all work meets health & safety standards and site protocols

Requirements:

Some site experience working alongside plumbers or other trades

Valid CSCS card

Good understanding of basic plumbing tools and materials

Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks

Own basic tools and PPE

Positive attitude, punctuality, and willingness to learn

Able to work well as part of a team and take direction
