Plumber (PPM – Prison Project)

Venatu Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Plumber to work on a secure prison project in Leeds. This is a long-term opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong background in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing maintenance in accordance with specification and scheduled works packages, ensuring full compliance and safety at all times.

• Carry out routine and non-routine plumbing maintenance

• Perform fault finding and provide effective solutions

• Identify and report life-expired equipment

• Check, repair, and replace plumbing systems as needed

• Complete inspections, water sampling, and risk assessments

• Conduct mains water supply repairs

• Work in line with health and safety standards and approved method statements

• Minimise material waste and promote efficient practices

• Ensure statutory maintenance is delivered on time and is fully compliant

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Gas Safe Registration (essential)

• Legionella Control (L8) certification

• Experience with Maximo or similar maintenance management systems

• Competent in the use of light plant equipment

• Comfortable working at height and in all weather conditions
