Maintenance Plumber – Manchester (Covering North England)

We’re partnering with a leading facilities services provider renowned for delivering high-quality maintenance across some of the UK’s most recognisable brands. With a strong reputation for reliability, investment in their people, and a growing client base, they are seeking a talented Maintenance Plumber to join their North England team.

As a Maintenance Plumber, you’ll be working on sites for respected names in hospitality, travel, and care — from popular restaurant chains and coffee shops to busy airports, train stations, and care homes. You’ll be part of a professional, well-equipped team that values quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Your Role as a Maintenance Plumber

• Carry out 1st and 2nd fix plumbing work

• Maintain and repair taps, toilets, sinks, hot water cylinders, and radiators

• Diagnose and resolve leaks, blockages, and drainage issues

• Deliver exceptional service to a varied and high-profile client base

Benefits:

• Salary: £16.50 per hour starting, rising to £17 after probation

• Hours: Core hours between 07:00 and 18:00 (8-hour day)

• Travel: Paid door-to-door travel

• Overtime: 1.5x before 7am, 2x on Sundays

• Callout: 1-in-6 rota, £130 retainer (Friday to Friday), day in lieu if called out past 2am

• Holiday: 28 days (under review)

• Training: Fully funded additional training to enhance skills and salary potential

• Vehicle: High-spec Ford Transit or Vivaro (business use only)

• Stay Away Option: £40 per night plus 1.5x rate for hours worked during overnight stays
