We are seeking an experienced and reliable Plumber to join our team on a permanent basis at the Liverpool Royal Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day plumbing repairs, maintenance, and minor installation works across the hospital site, ensuring that all plumbing and sanitaryware systems remain in safe and efficient working order.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake day-to-day plumbing repairs and maintenance on various sanitaryware, pipework, and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose and rectify plumbing faults efficiently and in line with health and safety standards.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as directed by the Key Account Manager.
- Support the wider maintenance team with plumbing expertise when required.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used.
- Respond promptly to urgent repair requests to minimise disruption to hospital operations.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing & Heating.
- Demonstrable experience in plumbing maintenance and repair, ideally within a commercial, healthcare, or facilities management environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of current plumbing regulations and standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
