PLC Software Engineer - Dungannon - £50-60K We are looking for a proactive and detail oriented PLC Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design and implement control software for bespoke industrial systems, driving performance, reliability and innovation across out automation platforms Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager you''ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate PLCs into complex control architectures, including Telematics and HMI interfaces. You''ll take ownership of system programming, testing, and optimization-ensuring our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Duties: Design, program, configure and implement software in PLC systems to automate industrial systems to meet operational needs. Debug, test, and validate control logic to ensure performance standards are achieved. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate PLCs into broader control system architecture, including Telematics and HMI interfaces. Analyse and optimize existing control logic to improve efficiency, accuracy, and system reliability.
