      <description>Location: Bedford | Salary: 60000.00-60000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Job Title: PLC Software Engineer Location: Bedford Overview: We are seeking a skilled PLC Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for the design, development, and commissioning of automation systems. This role is primarily office-based, with some flexibility for remote work. Key Responsibilities:  Design and develop PLC software using Siemens platforms, including TIA Portal Support the build and integration of automated cells and systems Commission and test control systems to ensure performance and reliability Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver projects on time and to specification Provide technical support and documentation throughout project lifecycles  Skills and Experience Required:  Proven experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal design Strong background in commissioning and system integration Experience working with automated build cells Ability to troubleshoot and optimize control systems Strong communication and teamwork skills  Additional Information:  70% office-based, 30% home-based working Potential car allowance included as part of the package</description>
