PLC Software Engineer

Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer - PLC Engineer (Water Sector) Location: Central England/East Anglia Rate: up to £60an hour Contract Duration: 6 - 12 months Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for automation and control systems? We''re seeking a talented PLC Engineer to join our team on a key project in the water sector. If you''re driven, technically skilled, and ready to make a significant impact, this opportunity could be for you. Key Responsibilities: Develop Functional Design Specifications from customer control philosophies. Program, Test, and Commission PLC and HMI code to ensure flawless operations. Collaborate with Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC and HMI systems (experience preferred but not essential). Work with SCADA systems (experience preferred but not essential). Deliver high-quality projects for UK Water Authorities, with the option to leverage a strong automation or process background if water-specific experience is limited. Manage tasks autonomously, demonstrating strong self-motivation and initiative. What We''re Looking For: Proficiency in PLC programming and commissioning.
