The Company

My client is a specialist Engineering company that designs, manufactures and installs bespoke equipment as part of a customer specific solution for a wide range of projects across multiple sectors.

They have an excellent opportunity for an experience PLC Design & Commissioning Engineer who will join (& ultimately lead) the team on current and future projects.

The Role

Working closely with the Software team, the PLC Design & Commissioning Engineer will work closely with Mechanical & Electrical engineering teams and be responsible for the creation of PLC applications that are compliant to ISO 9001.

Other responsibilities will include:

• PLC Programming
• System Integration
• Client Liaison
• System & Equipment Testing
• Industrial Network Set-up
• In-house & on-site commissioning
• Installation & Commissioning
• Completion of all required Documentation
• Support & Collaboration with other functions

The Candidate

The successful PLC Design & Commissioning Engineer will be a qualified Engineer with knowledge and experience of, or bias to Electrical Engineering.

You will have:

• A proven track record of at least 3years within a similar role
• Be self-motivated
• Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Be comfortable in a client-facing role
• Able to work to tight deadlines
• Be prepared to travel overseas

In return the successful PLC Design & Commissioning Engineer will receive an excellent salary and benefits package that includes a salary of up to -58,000 (dependent upon experience) a Company Car and Bonus.
