The Role PLC programming, configuration, testing and commissioning of automated material handling and manufacturing systems. Fault finding and diagnostics across PLC, HMI, controls and automation systems. Supporting the commissioning and integration of conveyors, sortation, automated machinery and associated equipment. Working from electrical schematics, control panels and technical documentation. Software modifications, optimisation and system troubleshooting. Supporting site acceptance testing and project handover. Working closely with electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams. Completing technical reports and site documentation. Potential UK-wide travel with occasional overnight stays. Requirements Proven experience as a PLC / Controls / Automation Engineer.
