PLC / Controls Engineers Contract Location: UK-wide/London/Home Counties Job Type: Contract Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience Start: Variable We are looking for experienced PLC / Controls Engineers to support intralogistics and manufacturing projects across the UK. The Role PLC programming, configuration, testing and commissioning of automated material handling and manufacturing systems. Fault finding and diagnostics across PLC, HMI, controls and automation systems. Supporting the commissioning and integration of conveyors, sortation, automated machinery and associated equipment. Working from electrical schematics, control panels and technical documentation. Software modifications, optimisation and system troubleshooting. Supporting site acceptance testing and project handover. Working closely with electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams. Completing technical reports and site documentation. Potential UK-wide travel with occasional overnight stays. Requirements Proven experience as a PLC / Controls / Automation Engineer. Experience within intralogistics, automation, manufacturing or industrial environments is ideal. Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience. Experience with Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley or similar PLC platforms. Good understanding of industrial automation, controls and electrical systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Full UK driving licence. ..... full job details .....
