Job Title: Plating Operative Location: HytheContract: PermanentSalary: £24,761 (rising to £25,775 from 1st April)Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday finish at 1:00pmWhat You''ll Be DoingTo electroplate components by preparing jigs with the parts and then sending through the appropriate electrochemical process.To run components through the chemistry process ensuring that regular checks are made.To make any additions to the chemicals as required.To rinse and dry all components.To ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed.Ensure the processes and other equipment are used in a safe and reliable manner whilst maintaining optimum production levels.What We''re Looking ForIf you have previous electroplating experience or COSHH / chemistry knowledge, this would be ideal for this role.However, full training will be provided so previous experience in manufacturing, production, factory or warehouse is also ideal.
