Platform StaffManchester Victoria Train Station 14.00 per hour Weekly Pay September Start DateSearch Consultancy are currently recruiting 6 Platform Staff to join a busy rail operation at Manchester Victoria Train Station on a temporary basis for an initial 6-month assignment.This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates from hospitality, fast food, retail, customer service, events or transport backgrounds who are confident dealing with members of the public and can remain professional in challenging situations.The RoleYou will be based on station platforms, assisting passengers and providing excellent customer service during significant timetable and platform changes, including the closure of Platform 5 at Manchester Victoria.Duties will include:Assisting passengers with travel queries and providing station informationSupporting customers during service disruptions and timetable changesProviding Passenger Assist support for customers with disabilities or additional needsAssisting passengers with luggage and mobility equipmentDeploying and lifting access ramps (up to 22kg)Maintaining a visible presence on station platformsManaging customer expectations during busy periodsWorking closely with station teams to ensure passenger safetyDelivering exceptional customer service at all timesWhat We''re Looking ForStrong customer service experienceExcellent communication skillsResilient and able to remain calm under pressureAble to work outdoors on station platforms during all ..... full job details .....
