Platform Modernisation Lead (Contract) Duration: Up until 31 March 2026 (Possibility for extension)Location: London/Hybrid (3 days per week on site)Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates Role Overview As the Platform Modernisation Lead, you will take ownership of designing and implementing our hybrid multi-cloud container platform, ensuring it is production-ready at scale. You will be a key player in the ITSD Architecture and Engineering organisation, responsible for integrating our platform with corporate governance processes, standards, and tooling. This role demands strong leadership and a strategic mindset as you define and embed our cloud operating model, aligning it with change and release management, observability, monitoring, alerting, and support processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of a hybrid multi-cloud container platform across Azure, AWS, and GCP.Ensure seamless integration between the platform and corporate governance processes, standards, and tooling.Define and embed a robust cloud operating model that aligns with organisational change and release management.Develop observability, monitoring, and alerting strategies to ensure operational excellence.Maintain end-to-end accountability for platform production readiness, ensuring it meets enterprise standards.Support and enable the migration of legacy applications to the cloud, contributing to broader cloud adoption ..... full job details .....
