We''re working with an ambitious fintech scaleup looking for a Lead Platform Engineer / Platform Engineering Manager to take ownership of its cloud platform, lead a small team of talented engineers, and help shape the future of its technology. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants more than just another engineering role. You''ll have the autonomy to influence architectural decisions, drive engineering best practices, and define how the platform evolves as the business continues to grow. The role offers a genuine 50/50 split between hands-on engineering and technical leadership/people management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying close to the technology while developing a team and setting the wider technical direction. The Role You''ll lead a team of three platform engineers, taking responsibility for the reliability, security, scalability, and ongoing evolution of the cloud platform.
