Connect bridges HR systems and digital tools to give frontline employees seamless, secure access – without email addresses or complexity. Backed by recent funding and used by some of the UK’s biggest brands, the platform is scaling fast.As our Platform Engineering Manager, you’ll work at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer delivery – setting technical direction, guiding architectural decisions, and helping scale a secure, modular, and high-performing platform. You’ll lead on everything from architecture and infrastructure to mentoring engineers and helping shape the product roadmap.WHAT YOU WILL DODesign, lead, and evolve the technical architecture of the Connect platformMake decisions on tech stack, infrastructure, frameworks, and integration approachesCollaborate closely with the Head of Connect to align architecture with roadmap prioritiesProvide hands-on technical leadership – contributing code, conducting reviews, and guiding decisionsMentor and support a growing engineering team, ensuring high-quality deliveryTranslate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable systemsFocus on performance, reliability, and security at scaleStay ahead of emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvementWHAT YOU’LL BRINGStrong experience with Service Fabric and KubernetesProven experience architecting and scaling B2B SaaS platformsExperience integrating with APIs and identity platforms (e.g. Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD)Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure – ideally Azure and Service FabricA collaborative mindset – comfortable working across product, engineering, and client deliveryA pragmatic, hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-makingBackground in IAM or SSO is a bonusOUR TECH STACKWHY COCENTRICBe a key part of a product that’s transforming how the frontline workforce connectsHelp shape the technical foundation of a platform built for scale and impactWork alongside a talented, fast-growing team backed by investment and momentumHybrid working model with a base in our London office and flexibility to work from home29 days annual leave, including a day off for your birthday, plus bank holidays.Our office closes over ChristmasGenerous private medical care and additional perks with VitalityCocentric recognise that your family is important and being able to spend quality time with your family as it grows is a wonderful experience.
