This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong experience across Go, API gateways, Kubernetes, distributed systems and modern cloud-native infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design, build and operate Envoy Proxy and/or Kong API Gateway infrastructure supporting production traffic. Develop Go-based control-plane services, gRPC APIs and Kubernetes controllers. Build and maintain secure gateway and authentication capabilities using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE and mTLS. Develop and maintain OPA/Rego policies for gateway-layer authorisation. Manage multi-cluster Kubernetes deployments using Helm, ArgoCD and GitOps. Build and extend observability capabilities using OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace and Splunk. Automate CDN/WAF configuration and security controls. Work with PostgreSQL and Kafka-based platform services.
