Platform Engineer (Go | Kubernetes | API Gateway) Contract: Day rate negotiable (Inside IR35)Location: 5 days onsite - GlasgowDuration: Long-term contract We''re looking for experienced Platform Engineers to join a team building and operating high-performance, cloud-native infrastructure supporting large-scale production environments. Key Skills Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang) development. Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS and/or on-prem), Helm and GitOps/ArgoCD. Experience with Envoy Proxy and/or Kong API Gateway. Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, PKCE, mTLS and modern authentication technologies. Experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego. Exposure to OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace and/or Splunk. Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, Kafka, networking and distributed systems. Experience building scalable, resilient, production-grade platform services. Nice to Have AWS platform experience. TypeScript/React. Cloudflare or Akamai. Bitbucket Pipelines and CI/CD. Identity platforms such as ForgeRock or SAML.
