We''re looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys experimenting with new technologies, and wants to work on projects where reliability, automation and operational excellence are essential. You''ll be joining a collaborative engineering team delivering secure, high-impact platforms that support critical national programmes.

As a Platform Engineer, you''ll design, deploy and maintain modern infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments. Working alongside experienced software and infrastructure engineers, you''ll help build scalable, automated platforms while continually improving how services are deployed, monitored and operated.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you''ll:

• Build and improve secure, automated platform infrastructure
• Deploy solutions into complex production environments
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Work closely with developers to streamline software delivery
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimise platform performance
• Contribute ideas, challenge existing approaches and help shape engineering best practice

You''ll likely have experience in several of the following:

• Supporting and operating production platforms
• Infrastructure as Code and automation
• Containerisation and Kubernetes
• Cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
• CI/CD tooling and deployment pipelines
• Linux administration
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Due to the nature of the work, applicants must have existing Security Clearance.
