We''re partnering with a leading Defence organisation to recruit a Principal Platform Engineer who will play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise-scale, software-defined infrastructure within highly classified environments. As a Principal Platform Engineer, you''ll lead the design, implementation and evolution of secure VMware Cloud Foundation platforms, working alongside highly skilled engineers to deliver resilient, enterprise-grade infrastructure. You''ll combine hands-on technical leadership with architecture, mentoring and customer engagement, helping shape solutions that operate in some of the most demanding environments. What You''ll Be Doing Lead the architecture, design and deployment of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platforms. Design secure software-defined datacentre solutions spanning compute, storage and networking. Translate customer requirements into robust technical designs and implementation plans. Take ownership of complex technical work packages, providing estimates, technical leadership and delivery oversight.
