Platform Engineer (DV Cleared) Contract 650- 750 per day Outside IR35 Corsham 6-12 Months Ncounter is recruiting an experienced DV Cleared Platform Engineer to support a major cloud transformation programme within Defence. This is an opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of secure, modern cloud infrastructure supporting critical government services. Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you''ll take a hands-on role in building, automating and improving cloud platforms, with a particular focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes. The programme offers technically challenging work, exposure to modern cloud technologies and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to services operating within a highly secure environment. The Role: Design, build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using GCP and Kubernetes. Develop and improve automation, infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes. Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery. Support containerised applications, ensuring platform reliability, availability and performance. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and contribute to continuous platform improvements. Collaborate with architects, developers and security specialists to deliver robust cloud solutions.
