Platform Engineer

We have an exciting job opportunity for role Platform Engineer based in Leeds, UK (Weekly 3 days onsite) for Permanent Job Type: Permanent Location: Leeds (3 days in a week) Job description: Key responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable platform solutions. Including monitoring, managing and optimising cloud-based (AWS) resources. Feed engineering insight and experience into the wider Strategy and Architecture team to identify opportunities to improve engineering across the whole organisation. Document all procedures and policies for maintaining and improving system infrastructure. Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) for efficient and secure deployment and operations. Whilst also working with development teams to facilitate the deployment and operation of systems. Skills Required: Minimum Experience as a Senior Platform Engineer including a solid understanding of software engineering principles and their application. Experience of Scripting and pipeline automation (eg Jenkins and GitHub Actions). Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS) and containerisation technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
