An greenfield opportunity to join a leading financial institution as a Developer Platform Engineer, helping to shape and evolve a modern internal developer platform used across a large engineering organisation. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, cloud technology, and platform enablement building tools, improving developer experience, and supporting teams in delivering high quality, secure software at scale. What you''ll be doing Designing and delivering reliable, scalable software solutions across a modern engineering stack. Working closely with product, engineering, and design teams to define requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. Contributing to best-practice engineering through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Driving secure coding standards, automated testing practices, and high-quality CI/CD workflows. Staying current with industry trends and bringing forward ideas that raise the bar in engineering excellence. What you''ll bring Strong full-stack engineering experience Hands-on knowledge of GitLab/GitHub, CI/CD, and automated testing. Experience working with modern cloud environments (AWS or similar) and containerisation (Kubernetes). Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript (React is a bonus). Exposure to internal developer platforms in a complex enterprise environment is highly valuable.
