Platform Engineer

Hamiltonian Dynamics is a start-up based in Gloucestershire, Manchester and London working in the National and Cyber Security industries. We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our growing technology team in our next phase of expansion.We are seeking someone who has experience in one or more of the following technologies but who is also open minded about learning new tools and technologies.Infrastructure As Code and IT orchestration tooling such as Ansible and Terraform (or alternatives)Containerisation - Docker, KubernetesCloud experience – AWS and / or AzureContinuous Development and Integration tools and practicesLogs and Monitoring – fluentd, Elastic stack, Grafana, JaegerFamiliar with Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) tools and recommendationsA salary of £40-75k with an exciting array of projects to work on. Therefore, we have a three stage interview process. The first is a chat with our recruiter, Sarah, lasting up to 30 minutes and the next is a 1 hour Teams call with two of the team. After all, recruitment is a two-way process!Due to the nature of the role, you must be a UK Citizen and have lived in the UK for the last 10 years. This role requires you to already hold a high-level security clearance.Customer sites are based in Gloucestershire, Manchester and London - you must be willing to travel to one of these sites.The salary banding for this role is £40-75k, depending on experience.
