Hays are now looking for a Platform Engineer on a 12 month contract. The role is focused on engineering, database development, automation, integration, DevOps, and platform development.£430 p/d Inside IR35 - 12 Months2 days p/w in the office, 3 days WFHLocation is ManchesterMust have C#, MS SQL, PowerShell, API''s, KafkaJoin a high-performing engineering team responsible for delivering critical cyber and infrastructure solutions across the organisation. You''ll play a key role in designing, developing and automating scalable platforms, working across databases, APIs, integration technologies and DevOps tooling to enhance and support enterprise-level services.What you''ll be doingDesigning, developing and enhancing enterprise applications and platform solutions using C# and .NET technologies.Building and supporting RESTful APIs, integrations and automation capabilities using PowerShell and JSON-based interfaces.Developing and optimising SQL Server-based solutions, with exposure to MongoDB beneficial.Implementing and supporting event-driven integrations using Kafka.Automating deployment and operational processes using Ansible, Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.Collaborating with engineers, architects and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and resilient solutions.Producing and maintaining technical documentation, ensuring adherence to governance, security and change control standards.Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency and delivery. ..... full job details .....
