Platform Engineer - Dev OpsNavy Digital Services has delivered two ''on-premise'' multi-tenant cloud hosting platforms to support the Royal Navy''s digital strategy. There are a number of live applications on the Navy Digital Hosting (NDH) platform, a number currently being on-boarded with more being added to the backlog. The service also provides and hosts services that replace/re-platform existing applications along with new services. The cloud hosting services are not static, new services are being introduced to meet demand and requirements for cloud tenants and application providers as required. The successful candidate will work as an infrastructure DevOps engineer within the NDH engineering team to build and enhance infrastructure automation tooling for the delivery of an efficient and high-quality private cloud hosting service. Responsibilities Manage Kubernetes offering Make enhancements to the Kubernetes Automation of cloud deployments and day 2 operational tasks in a cloud service provider environment Infrastructure (not software development) DevOps Creation of operating procedures and knowledge articles / process Creation and on-going updates to detailed system design and configuration documentation.
