Platform Engineer, AWS Role: Platform Engineer Length: 6 Months Rate: £550 per day IR35: Outside IR35 Start: ASAP We''re currently supporting a leading organisation in their search for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a high-performing cloud engineering team on an initial 6-month contract. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the design, automation and ongoing enhancement of a large-scale cloud platform, ensuring it remains secure, scalable, resilient and cost-effective. You''ll work closely with engineering, security and operations teams to deliver robust cloud infrastructure and improve platform capabilities through automation and Infrastructure as Code. Key Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain core cloud platform services, networking and security controls. Build and enhance Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and automation tooling. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient cloud delivery. Monitor platform performance, security and availability, driving proactive improvements and issue resolution. Support incident management and operational excellence across cloud environments. Continually optimise platform scalability, resilience and cloud costs. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and security teams to improve cloud engineering practices.
