Platform Engineer (AWS IaC) London / WFH to £75k Are you an infrastructure technologist with strong AWS and Terraform experience? You could be progressing your career at a scaling technology company that specialises in renewable energy storage and trading. As a Platform Engineer you''ll design, build and optimise the AWS infrastructure, working closely with software engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure and cost effective cloud solutions. This is a hands-on role with plenty of ownership. You''ll take the lead on infrastructure projects, shape architectural decisions, automate and improve ways of working and ensure the AWS platform continues to meet the organisation''s evolving technical and business needs. Your role will include designing and implementing scalable AWS infrastructure using services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ECS and Lambda; leading infrastructure projects from requirements and architecture through to delivery; building and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform, alongside CI/CD pipelines and automation, seeking to improve operational efficiency through scripting, tooling and automation. You''ll monitor and optimise AWS environments for performance, reliability and cost using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana and other observability tools, implement AWS security best practice, including IAM, roles, policies and least privilege access.
