Platform Applications Engineer (DV) - Contract - Hybrid working/Wiltshire - £competitive Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Platform Applications Engineer to work at a leading consultancy client, on a contract basis. The successful candidate will join a dynamic engineering team, with a strong focus on platform applications, end-user computing and client-side services. Key Responsibilities Design, build, configure and maintain end-user platform applications and services. Manage and maintain Windows 11 client environments, ensuring they are secure, stable and fit for purpose. Use VMware Horizon to build, manage and maintain desktop images and virtual desktop environments. Develop and maintain Windows desktop images, including application packaging, configuration and optimisation. Manage endpoint configuration, policies and application deployment through Microsoft Intune. Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, including users, groups, computers, Group Policy and related services. Support the deployment, configuration and life cycle management of end-user applications. Investigate and resolve complex issues across the desktop and application platform. Work with security teams to ensure endpoint and platform configurations meet required security standards. Contribute to platform upgrades, technical improvements and life cycle management.
