My client in the Hellaby area of Rotherham ae looking for Plater / Welders.They are a family owned and run business and truly hold our values at the heart of everything they do offering a unique and friendly place of work; whilst maintaining the highest of professional standards.They currently have vacancies for a proactive and experienced Platers to join the team.The RoleCut, shape and assemble steel plate componentsBuilding parts/assemblies to engineering drawings with precisionEnsure quality is keep to a high standard through out and carry out visual inspections to ensure fabrication & build is correct to drawings.Manoeuvre fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears and flame cutters to cut, bend, grind and adjust materialsWorking from engineering drawings & specifications and correct revisionsPlace each product component in its appropriate spot as noted in the blueprints,Engineer, Technical drawings for proper alignment by using the correct hand toolsGrinding, burning and other fabrication tasksReview blueprints, drawings and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completionEmploy furnaces or hand torches to heat up materials to make them more flexible for bending or manipulation into the correct specificationMake templates/Jigs for common work tasks when conducting repetitive motions for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work qualityThe PersonGood knowledge and experience in sheet metal fabricationHave understanding on Q.C inspection and process experienceExperienced in using Drilling Machines / Rolling Machines / Guillotines.Experience in steel metal beforeInterpret work from drawingsExperience in fabricationCompetent in using hand and power toolsHours of work:Monday to Thursday - 7:30am-4pm.Friday 07:30am-12:30pmOvertime is offered on a weekly basis with enhanced rates of pay.IND123
