Plater / Plater Welder - Structural Steel Location: Winsford Pay: 17.73 PAYE / 23.09 per hour CIS or Umbrella Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:45am - 4:45pm Friday: 7:45am - 12:45pm Day Shift Immediate Starts Available We are currently recruiting experienced Platers / Plater Welders to join a busy structural steel fabrication shop in Winsford.This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served Plater with experience working within medium to heavy structural engineering, offering competitive rates and an early finish every Friday. Duties include:Plating and fabrication of medium to heavy structural steelWorking from structural engineering drawingsMIG welding mild steel and thick plateWorking with plate thicknesses up to 20mmMeasuring, marking out and preparing materials for fabricationProducing work accurately to required tolerancesMaintaining high standards of quality and safety within the fabrication shop What We''re Looking For:Must be time-servedPrevious medium to heavy structural engineering experienceStrong plating and fabrication experienceAbility to read and work from structural drawingsConfident MIG welding thick mild steel plateAble to complete a trade test prior to starting.
