      <description>Location: East Riding of Yorkshire | Salary: &amp;pound;37960/annum | Type: Permanent | PLATER  Salary: £20.00 per hour Working Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-3:00pm; Friday, 7:00am-12:30pm Hours: 36.5 hours per week Reporting To: Production Manager / Fabrication Manager  Purpose of the Role  The Plater will be responsible for carrying out plating and fabrication duties to support the safe and efficient production of high-quality fabricated components.  The role involves reading and interpreting engineering drawings, marking out, cutting, shaping, forming, assembling, and preparing materials to the required specifications.  Key Responsibilities   Read and interpret engineering drawings, job packs, and specifications.  Mark out, cut, shape, form, and assemble plate, sections, and fabricated components.  Use appropriate fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment safely and correctly.  Prepare, align, and tack components ready for welding, ensuring they meet the required standards.  Measure and check work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with drawings and specifications.  Work safely with overhead cranes, lifting equipment, and mechanical handling equipment where trained and authorised.
