We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plater to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking to join a busy workshop with regular daytime hours and opportunities for overtime. Duties & Responsibilities: Fabricate and assemble steel components from engineering drawings. Mark out, cut, shape, and fit metal sections to specification. Read and interpret technical drawings accurately. Use a variety of fabrication tools and workshop equipment. Tack weld components where required prior to final welding. Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards. Work safely and maintain a clean and organised work area. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
