We have opportunities available across days and back shift, with regular overtime available and enhanced rates This is an excellent opportunity for time-served Platers looking for secure, long-term work within a busy heavy structural steel environment.Pay RatesDay Shift - 18.06 per hourBack Shift - 21.67 per hour (Includes 20% shift uplift)Shift PatternsDay Shift Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm40-hour standard working week with overtime available.Back Shift Monday - Thursday: 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Friday: 2:30pm - 8:30pm40-hour standard working week plus overtime opportunities.The WorkYou''ll be fabricating heavy structural steel components using plate up to 100mm thick within a busy production environment. Your work will include:Plating and fabrication of heavy structural steelWorking with 5mm-100mm steel plateReading and accurately interpreting engineering drawingsMarking out and preparing steel componentsCarrying out heat straighteningWorking accurately to engineering specifications and tolerancesUsing overhead cranes and lifting equipmentWhat We''re Looking ForHeavy structural steel plating experience is essential.You''ll ideally have:Proven experience as a Structural Steel Plater / FabricatorTime-served or apprentice-trained backgroundStrong heavy ..... full job details .....
