We are looking for an experienced Plater Fabricator to join our client, an established Engineering company at their site in Worsley. They operate across multiple industries, making this a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects for high-profile clients in a collaborative team environment, with plenty of overtime available. Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (38 hours per week).  Pay Rate: £17.25 – £17.50 per hour (depending on experience), Overtime Available:  Friday & Saturday mornings paid at enhanced rates, Sunday paid at double time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fabrication and assembly work as a Plater Fabricator following technical specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate results.
  • Prepare and shape materials ready for welding and assembly.
  • Inspect and quality check all completed work to maintain high standards.
  • Deliver fabrication work that meets project requirements and company. expectations for a Plater Fabricator.

About You:

  • Ideally you will be time-served through an apprenticeship or equivalent hands on experience as a Plater Fabricator.
  • Must have 4 years experience plus as a Plater Fabricator.
  • Experience working with heavy gauge materials in a fabrication workshop.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and capable of checking the quality of your own work.
  • Reliable, with good timekeeping and attendance.
  • Effective communicator with colleagues and supervisors.
