Paisley Site Services-currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Plater to join our manufacturing client-in Stockton-on-Tees.
-20.26 Per hour with overtime available at 1.5x and 2x on a Sunday.
Monday - Thursday (Apply online only) & Friday (Apply online only).
Position
-
- To undertake the fabrication of pressure vessels and heat exchangers of various diameters and thickness up to 80mm
- Carry out fabrication on pipework as per engineering drawings with tight tolerances
- To undertake work utilizing different materials including titanium, CuNi, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex and carbon steel
- Responsible for stripping and re-assembly of heat exchangers and pipework for maintenance
- Carry out general workshop day to days tasks as and when required
- Adhere to all workshop HSE and quality procedures
- To undertake work independently and as part of the team

Requirements

- Time served with a Level 3 qualification in welding and fabrication
- Experience with vessels or structural is essential
- Experience working in a medium to heavy fabrication background
- Be able to interpret and read engineering drawings with a good understanding
- Demonstrate an excellent attitude towards company HSE and Quality
- Forklift truck and overhead crane qualification preferred but not essential
