Platen OperatorLocation: Bishops Stortford Salary: Depending on Platen Industry Experience - 30k plus 30% extra pay for Sundays Hours: 06.45 - 18.45 (on a rotating basis): Week 1: Monday Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Wednesday Thursday FridayCompany: Global leading organisation serving indoor, outdoor and online markets. Role: Responsible for setting up and running platens to produce finished materials. Handling of large cutting forms and various types of materialsAdhering to health and safety regulationsSetting and operating platen machinesComplete paperwork accurately Complete daily machine checks sheets and any faults are to be advised to your supervisor,Always follow the Quality Control process and perform random quality checks to ensure consistency,Take responsibility to report any issues or unsafe working practices and follow the correct proceduresRequirements:Experience operating hand fed platens up to 3 x 1.8Worked with all materials particularly in POSYou will understand Health and Safety practicesExcellent communication skillsAbility to work on your own initiativeProven experience of working in a manufacturing surrounding Apply via the link or contact for more info on (phone number removed)!
