World Class Defence Organisation based in Bolton is currently looking to recruit 2x Plastics / Chemical Operators.Hourly Rate: 24.78ph, after 12 weeks the rate increases to 26.12ph. Overtime hours (over 37 hours) are at normal hourly rate plus 50% Contract Duration: 12 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter).Plastics / Chemical Operators Job Description:This involves working with small hand tools and masking tape, manually applying protective resin coatings to assembled circuit boards. Excellent Dexterity is a must have, and any experience working with small brushes, either in their personal time or professional life, would be an excellent skillset.The Plastics operator will be responsible for the carrying out of manufacturing and self-certification tasks within the deployed business, in accordance with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets and timescales to meet project objectives.Specific responsibilities include: Handling electronic components and equipment including the safe use and careReading and understanding layoutsExperience in the use of weighing equipmentExperience with mixing techniquesExperience with different potting techniquesExperience with conformal coating techniquesBe able to use and recognise epoxy resins and plasticsSafely use and dispose of all materials used with particular reference to cleanliness and voidance of contaminationBe able to prepare surfaces.
