Plastic Injection Mould Setter (Night Shift)

The leading UK manufacturer of high-quality drainage products and access covers is looking for a skilled Plastic Injection Mould Setter to play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes. 

Along with a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, you will also receive:

You will be working Monday-Thursday, 18:00 – 06:00. 

As Plastic Injection Mould Setter, your will be responsible for:

- Setting up and changing injection mould tools according to the production schedule
- Safely starting up and shutting down machines, including trial runs
- Fine-tuning machine settings to optimise product quality and cycle times
- Inspecting production output and correcting defects
- Performing basic maintenance on machines and tools, and reporting issues promptly
- Following all health and safety protocols, including PPE and safe handling
- Accurately recording machine settings, downtime, and quality checks
- Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying ways to reduce waste and boost efficiency

We’re looking for a Plastic Injection Mould Setter with:

- Proven experience as an injection mould setter
- Strong knowledge of plastics, moulding processes, and machine operations
- Confidence in fault finding and problem solving
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
