Location: Chesterfield
Pay: -15.06 per hour, 38 hours per week (set rate across all shifts, with increase after probation)
Shifts: 3-shift rotation - earlies, afternoons, nights (weekly rotation)
12 Week Temporary - Permanent Opportunity

Metalis are working with a leading plastic pipe and fittings manufacturer, supplying products to sectors including infrastructure, construction, water, and utilities.

The Role

You will join the plastic fabrication department, working on bespoke and varied batch runs.

Duties include:

• Plastic fabrication and butt welding
  
• Plastic bending (full training provided)
  
• Drilling set holes in plastic pipes
  
• Quality inspection of fabricated products
  
• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck
  
• General production duties
  

• Background in plastic fabrication, welding, injection moulding, or extrusion (or similar plastics experience)
  
• Comfortable working a 3-shift rotation
