Plasma operator

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented-Plasma Operator-to join our manufacturing team. The Plasma Operator will operate and monitor plasma cutting equipment, inspect finished parts, and ensure production meets quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate plasma cutting machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and position materials according to job specifications.
• Set machine parameters and make adjustments as needed.
• Monitor cutting operations and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and proper dimensions.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment problems.
• Follow company safety procedures and production standards.
• Complete production records and other required documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating plasma cutting equipment preferred.
• Manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, or gauges.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
