Job Type: Permanent Start Date: Immediate Industry: Heavy Plant Location: Fleet, Hampshire Salary and Package: £20 to £23 Per hour DOE Shift: Monday to Friday Hours: 7AM to 5PMThe Role and About the Client ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Plant Mechanic/Supervisor to join a well-established company based in the Fleet area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a varied fleet of Heavy Plant Equipment up to 90 tonnes and supervising a team of 13 fitters. Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Preparing vehicles and plant for MOTs Servicing and maintaining heavy plant equipment up to 90 tonnes Attending breakdowns and carrying out repairs Predominantly depot-based work, with occasional travel to breakdowns across Kent Working on a variety of heavy machinery including crushers, dozers and 360 excavators Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance Ensuring vehicles and machinery are maintained to a safe and operational standard Requirements: Ideally around 5 years'' relevant mechanical experience Experience working with Heavy Plant Equipment Level 3 qualification desirable but not essential Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs Full UK driving licence desirable Flexible approach to occasional breakdown call-outs Equal Opportunities ITS Building People are an equal opportunities employer.
